1. General Mountain Mods, provides premium, USA-made computer cases and accessories. These terms govern your use of our website, purchases, and interactions with our services. We reserve the right to update these terms, with changes posted on this page and significant updates communicated via email or website notice.

2. Order Placement By placing an order, you confirm the accuracy of all provided information (e.g., shipping address, product selections). Orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We may refuse or cancel orders due to stock issues, pricing errors, or suspected fraud. All prices are in USD and exclude taxes, duties, or shipping fees unless stated.

3. Payment Payments are processed securely through third-party providers (e.g., PayPal). Mountain Mods does not store credit card information. You are responsible for any applicable taxes or duties, including international customs fees, which are not collected by Mountain Mods.

4. Cancellations We process orders quickly, so please verify your selections before checkout. Cancellations are accepted only for non-custom orders that have not yet shipped.

  • Cancellation Fee: A fee of 4.5% of the order total or $1 (whichever is greater) applies to cover credit card and labor costs.
  • Post-Shipment: If a cancellation request is received after shipping, it will be treated as a return (see below). Orders placed confirm your agreement to these policies.

5. Returns Our return rate is under 0.01%, reflecting our commitment to quality. For non-damaged, non-custom items:

  • Return Window: Returns are accepted within 30 days of the original order date.
  • Process: Contact us at [[email protected]] to initiate a return. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and must use a trusted courier with insurance. Mountain Mods is not liable for items lost or damaged during return transit.
  • Condition: Items must be in new condition, unmodified, and with all original packaging. Case parts must be individually wrapped in plastic (as received) to prevent scratches.
  • Refund: Upon inspection, we’ll refund 75% of the original order cost (excluding original shipping fees), with the remaining 25% covering restocking fees. Items damaged, modified, or returned without proper packaging (e.g., unwrapped case parts with scratches) are not eligible for a refund or may incur additional deductions.

6. Defective Items For defective items (not due to shipping damage):

  • Non-Mountain Mods Items: Contact us within 30 days of the order date. After 30 days, contact the manufacturer for warranty claims.
  • Mountain Mods Items: We offer a 90-day parts and labor warranty on our manufactured products.
  • Process: Contact us at [[email protected]]. Customers cover return shipping costs, and items must be properly packaged. We’re not liable for loss or damage during return transit. Upon inspection, we’ll replace defective items in new condition at no additional cost.

7. Incorrect Orders If your order includes incorrect, missing, or promotional items:

  • Verification: Check your order thoroughly and note all missing, incorrect, or defective items. Contact us at [[email protected]] with a complete list to avoid multiple shipments. We cover shipping for the first replacement shipment only; additional shipments due to incomplete reports are at your expense.
  • Options for Incorrect Items:
    1. Return the incorrect item (properly packaged) at your expense, and we’ll ship the correct item upon receipt.
    2. Pay a refundable deposit for the correct item. We’ll ship it with a return label for the incorrect item. Upon return of the incorrect item in new condition, we’ll refund the deposit.
  • Promotional Items: Extra items included for promotional purposes are yours to keep at no cost.

8. Shipping Refer to our Delivery Information page for details on shipping methods, times, and handling of damaged or lost items. Mountain Mods is not responsible for courier-related delays, losses, or damages, but we’ll assist with claims where applicable.

Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mountain Mods is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or products, including but not limited to damages from shipping delays, product defects, or data loss. Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.
