Project CONDITION RED update! Well I have completely reworked the innards of my Extended Ascension Case and It now sports:- Asus ROG Formula VI MB, I5 4760K CPU clocked at a comfortable 4200MHz, Reference GTX 770 2GB, 16 GB teamgroup Xtreem LV frost edition 2400 MHz, 256 GB Samsung 840 Pro SSD, 2TB Seagate HD, Corsair 750 RM PSU. And the cooling loop consists of a Aquacomputer Aquastream XT USB 12V Pump- Standard Version Paired with a AGB Alphacool Lighttower All-in-One Reservoir - Black, single and triple phobya G-Changer Rads, XSPC Razor GPU Block and backplate, XSPC Delta CPU block, XSPC RAM Waterblock set, EK MB Waterblock set for Formula VI, Mayhems Pastel red coolant, 6 Antec 120 true quiet fans, 4 Noctura 120 UNL fans and a 500rpm scythe fan all controlled by the NZXT Sentry LE controller and lots of red Leds wherever possible. Lots of very minor mods i.e. painting things like grills, blanking plates and CPU bracket red and cutting small holes here and there for cabling. And when tested and running the whole system only produces 16-17 Dbl of noise And it runs at 25-35 Deg C or 298-308 Deg Kelvin or 77-98 Deg F even when under load, and all this has been done whilst obeying the following:- 3 laws for Custom Built PCs Law 1 All custom built PCs are to look good and be aesthetically pleasing. (To the eye of the beholder of course) Law 2 All custom built PCs are to run cool and quiet without breaking Law 1. Law 3 All custom built PCs are to have a high overall performance without breaking Laws 1 and 2. Of course all builds have to be done within the builders budget??

CONDITION RED project My plan is to build a large watercooled PC with a Red and Black theme, using some Legacy parts from my old system coupled with lots of new shiny red/black parts From around the world!! First of all BIG is best so I opted for the Extended Ascension Finished in Anodised Black, sporting large windows on top and both side panels with Horizon at the rear and the standard front panel. The current MB,CPU, RAM and graphics card will be replace with ASUSs Maximus Formula VI MB coupled with the i5 4670K and a suitable GTX 770 mounting XSPC Razor full cover waterblock and 16 GB of DDR3 2133 MHz ram also sporting watercooling blocks. As for the cabling I intend to do a custom re-wire using Red braiding throughout. Peripheral Items are Swiftech Maelstrom Resevoir, Triple and Single Phobya G-Changer Rad, Magicool deep quiet Pump station 700, Icybox USB3 card reader, NZXT sentry LX fan controller, 6 x Antec truequiet 120mm Red LED fans, 5 x Noctura 120mm ULN fans, 6 x 120 mm Red grills,

I’m the proud owner of a Mountain Mods Plateau case with the black wrinkle powder coat finish. I took it one step further and had my local powder coating company match the finish on my Mountain Mods case to some parts that I had ordered. I ordered six hex style 120mm fan grills, a Vantec HDD cooler and even took my silver colored Mountain Mods PCI cover brackets to my powder coater. With a little modding, I was able to hide the internal wiring with a good amount of success. As you can see, I took a few pictures while assembling this case but my final pictures show all of my miscellaneous parts fully powder coated. Intel Core i7 2600K @ 5ghz, Asus P8P67 Deluxe SLI motherboard, Sparkle GTX 580 video cards x 2, 16GB’s Gskill DDR3 1600, Enermax Galaxy 1000w PSU, Western Digital Black 1TB hard drives x 2 in RAID 0, LG Bluray CD/DVD-ROM, Prolimatech Megahalems CPU cooler and Coolermaster 120mm fans x 8. I have it paired to a 5.2 1000w Pioneer surround sound system, a gaming platform, custom remote controlled LED backlighting system and a 55” RCA 1080p 240hz HDTV.

This poor little case of yours is pretty underrepresented on the MM site in photos showing what it actually looks like when built. I was after a small form factor system that could still get full ATX sized high-power components inside for my workstation. H2gO is the only thing that really fills the bill. Kudos MM for a great little box. Very happy customer!
