It is a U2 UFO Horizon stuffed with the following: Gigabyte GA-X48T-DQ6 with an e8400 at 4.275 gHz, 4 gigs of Super Talent DDR3 1800, two 4870x2 video cards at 800/950 per core and a single 500 gig WD drive. CPU loop is an Alphacool topped DDC Ultra pump, MCR220QP Radiator and an Alphacool NexXxos XP block. GPU loop uses the same pump, a MCR320QP Radiator and two EK FC4870x2 blocks. All system fans (6) are Yate Loon slow speed. The sides are mesh to let all the hot air out and the top is clear acrylic. Almost all fasteners are #6-32 stainless steel socket headed cap screws with polished washers. This setup hit 21768 on 3dMark06! http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=8389010 I love this case and I will build with Mountain Mods cases from now on!

Guys Just wanted to send you a couple pics of my Rig and the Specs by the BY THE WAY MY FIRST BUILD.. And the other one runs all the lighting and fans. The 2nd bay door I made to be my Reservoir holder. Custom Etched plexiglass 1 with a Maltese Cross within the cross it says Firefighter, Hazmat, Crash Rescue, 51m. The other side has a Firefighter with 2 angles on his sides and under them it stats the Firemans Prayer which is When I am called to duty, God, Whenever flames may rage; Give me strength to save some life, Whatever be its age. Help me embrace a little child Before it is too late Or save an older person From the horror of that fate. Enable me to be alert And hear the weakest shout, And quickly and efficiently To put the fire out. I want to fill my calling And to give the best in me To guard my every neighbor And protect his property. And if, according to my fate, I am to lose my life, Please bless with your protecting My children and my wife. Now on to the paint job Its a Custom Paint job..The inside is a blue, purple and black flames, and on the outside is the same style but orange, purple, black and red. WATER COOLED H2GO. Great case, loads of space and easy access with all the panels off make it a very easy build. Nice thick panels and a good industrial look to the case. CPU is e6300 @ 3ghz GPU 7900 GTO Star of the show, luckily I live 5 minutes away from Thermochill HQ so popped in a few days ago with my son to pick up a pa120.2. My idle tems are now down from 52idle to 33. Load temps will follow when I do some stress testing.

Hey MM Guys! I decided to completely overhaul my Horizon after replacing a defective motherboard and adding a quad core, and I figured you guys would enjoy seeing how one of your creations has matured! My system is completely filled with a Q6600 G0 CPU running at 3.7ghz on an EVGA 680i motherboard, dual 8800GTX's in SLI, an ATI X300 for dual monitor SLI, 4GB of G.Skill HZ DDR800 ram, dual Raptor X 150GB's in Raid 0, and dual WD 500GB's in Raid 1, all powered by an Enermax Galaxy DXX 1000W PSU. My CPU, video cards, and Northbridge are all cooled utilizing dual water loops. While each loop uses dual Laing DDC2 18W pumps, the CPU loop has its very own dedicated Thermochill PA120.3 radiator and I have a Swiftech MicroRes to aid with bleeding/filling. The GPU loop has water pumping through a Danger Den 680i water block, two EK full cover 8800GTX blocks, and another Swiftech MicroRes, leaving heat exchange duties to a Thermochill PA120.2 mounted underneath the horizontal motherboard. Coolant is Pentosin G11 Blue UV in the GPU loop and pure distilled water with red UV dye in the CPU loop. Temperatures are absolutely excellent, and with all of the airflow through the case, none of my components get hot at all. I added another 120mm fan in a triple bay fan mount which took care of the plain, empty area on the front left side due to only having a pair of 5.25" devices installed on the right. I wanted to build the case in a way that made it look very "business outside, party inside". For this reason, I chose to use all black fans and black grills, with the only light source being from four 12" Logitech UV CCFLs to illuminate the UV reactive coolant. All wires have been sleeved/heatshrinked, and I modified the CCFL power wires to connect to my Sunbeam fan controller using 3pin fan connectors, giving me the option to dim them or turn them off completely using the front knobs. All in all, it was an extremely fun build, and I enjoy being the envy of all the gamers here in Kuwait. :) I still have trouble believing that I was able to fit an Enermax Galaxy PSU, a PA120.2 radiator with two 3.5" HDD's attached to it, and FOUR Laing DDC2 pumps all under the motherboard. MM U2-UFO cases never cease to amaze me! Thanks again, Jose Temporarily in Kuwait RX7Boricua on xtremesystems.org

This is a build of 2004 version of a big window. Notice this old evolution used the single wrap and 3 x 80mm instead of the 2 x 120mm on the back wall. This is a Project I have beeing working for a long time. I bought this case about two years ago. It has gone through many changes. This is What I have at the present time. AMD Quad Core water cooled 4x4 FX-74 overclocked 3.2 ghz Dual water cooled BFG 8800 GTS's runing in SLI mode one Creative X-fi platinum with front panel 4GB (4x1GB) Corsair CM2X DDR2-800/ pc-6400 Asus L1N64-SLI WS Four Raptors HD 74GB in Raid 0 one Seagate Barracuda 400gb One 18X MadDog DVD IDE One 20x LitOn DVD sata Dual loop water cooling consisting fo the following: One Thermochill PA120-3 Radiator, One Black Ice micro (80mmX2) Radiator, Two Swiftech MCRes Micro Resevoir, Swiftech pump for the GPU loop, Thermaltake pump for the CPU loop, Two Thermaltake CPU water blocks, Two EK 8800GTS water block This system is preaty sweet. Runs preaty smooth. This case is perfect for a mix like this, It generates lots of heat. Cpu's run between 35 to 40 degrees. Motherboard goes arround 47 degrees. Gpu's in the mid 40's. But, overall still is a preaty quiet system. I added a 120mm blow hole at top with a MNPCTECH acrilic black grill and also tinted the top and right side windows.

Hi Guys, Check out my build using one of your MM UFOs. Guts consist of an AMD Opteron 170 overclocked to 2.5GHz, BFG 8800GTX with stock clocks, 2GB of Gskill DDR500, Abit AN832X mobo, PC P&C 610w, 2x 250GB Seagate 7200.10 SATA, 18x LiteOn DVD-RW. The Silverstone USB port was placed in the Mountain Mod 3.5 -> 5.25 blue acrylic bay adapter, I had to file the opening (width) of the bay adapter by ~.025" to get the USB port to fit. Water cooling consists of Thermochill PA120.3 rad, swiftech 655 pump, EK150 res, apogee gt water block "bowed", DD GPU waterblock, 7x Yate Loon blue LED fans, tygon 3606 1/2" tubing, distilled water, petra's G11 coolant additive with 2 drops of PT Nuke and a Sunbeam fan controller. The front fan grills I got from Crazy PC, love the dragon! This case is very sturdy, easy to work with and has plenty of room. The temps on the CPU stay in the low 30's and the GPU in the upper 40's, overall this system is very quiet. I mostly play Quake 4, FEAR, and waiting on Quake Wars and Unreal Tournament 3.

This system took me nearly a month to finish, I too great care in putting it together and couldn't be more satisfied with the result. The case is a U2-UFO with Mountain Mods custom laser etched windows. All the windows are images of my favorite anime character Ruri. While the system isn't top of the line by today's standards, its performance has never left me feeling the need for more power. Its run by an AMD FX-60over clocked to a tad less than 3 GHZ, with 2 GB of Corsair XMS Performance series ram and a very capable XFX 7900 GT. All the water cooling is taken care of by a mix of Swiftech water blocks and accessories. Its performance has been nothing but extraordinary, only reaching 90 degrees under 100% load on both CPU cores. Currently I'm running Window XP x64 (no plans on switching to Vista) and have been extremely pleased with its performance across the board.

A custom Canary yellow UFO case with the secondary power supply port replaced with a 120mm fan hole so I could run a second tripple radiator. I removed the drive bay and replaced it with a UV green lexan drive bay that alows me to place my hard drive in front of dual 120mm fans. and the rear Hard drive bay removed. The front has a 270 watt auxillary power supply to power the fans and lights the 500 watt main power supply powers the mobo and GPU. An aerocool coolwatch monitors the temps of the CPU,GPU,Case, and hard drive with automatic fan speed adjustments, A reobus controls the 6 120mm fans on the radiators, A sunbeam lightbus controls the 8 UV lights and 2 green plasma lights, The fan below the drive bay has a led readout that monitors Air temp. The dvd is an external that sits on the desk top. With the combination air and water cooling my average temps are: GPU 29c, CPU 25c, case 22c, and the hard drive is air cooled 26c. These temps are from the thermisistors I placed directly on the chips and monitor via the Aero Coolwatch. As temps go up fan speed auto adjusts to keep things nice and cool.

Since my hardware puts out so much heat i decided to watercool the cpu, nb, sb, and both 8800gtx's.. Needed a bigger case so i went with the Mountain Mods U2-UFO case.. Its really an incredible case... I wanted to go with to completely seperate loops, 1 for cpu, nb, and sb -- and 1 for both 8800gtx's... I have the Swiftech STORM Extreme Performance Universal Water-block - Rev 2 on the E6600.. Dangerden DD-680i Chipset Block on the northbridge.. Swifty MCW30 chipset block on the southbridge.. 2 x DangerDen DD-8800 GTX waterblocks on the southbridge.. 2 x Swiftech MCP655 pumps, one for each seperate loop.. 1 x 120.3 thermochill radiator for the cpu, nb, and sb loop.. 1 x 120.2 thermochill radiator for the 8800gtx's.. A total of 14 120mm fans in all.. I have 120mm fans on both sides of each radiator.. I did this so i could run the fans at very low rpm's-- keeping the water nice and cool and yet very quiet.. With the fans running very low( my pc is now almost completely silent) my temps are very good.. E6600@3600mhz(400x9 -- 1.525vcore) temps are 40C idle and around 45C full load.. 8800gtx's idle at 47C and get to 51C at full load.. nb and sb stay around 35C Im really impressed by the quality of this case, a bit expensive but well worth it IMHO.. Howard Liked the true cube design of the U2-UFO, but thought it a little small for his dream. Well fortunately for Howard we do custom design and fabrication. After a few emails, measurements, drawings, weeks, and dollars Howard got exactly what he wanted. A 22" cube to house his Vapochill unit, 3 LCD displays, stereo speakers, 2 water cooling loops using BIX II radiators, many hard drives, 5.25 devices and power supplies.
